Scientometric Analysis of Indian Citation Index (2004-2015): Profile of the Domain of Computer Science Journals

Abstract


Indian Citation Index database is a powerful tool to search, track, and measure and collaborate in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. This article is discussed the published research articles, citations and self-citations in the computer science journals which are available in Indian Citation Index. There are 5474 articles published from 5 computer science journals. Among the 5, International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science occupies the first position with 2559 (46.75%) articles and International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering occupies second rank with 1494 (27.29%) articles, and International Journal of Computer Science and Information Technology is in third place with 525 (9.59%) articles.
