Citation Analysis of Management Institutions in India: Study Based on Indian Citation Index
Abstract
Indian Citation Index database is a powerful tool that let you search, track, measure and collaborate in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities to turns raw data/information into the powerful knowledge you need. A database in general is a collection of information that is organized so that it can easily be accessed for various purposes, managed, and updated regularly. This paper is discussed about the published research articles and its citation from sixteen management Institutions in India. During the 2004 to 2014 period 1499 articles were published, the maximum number of articles 197(13.14%) was published by the IMT followed by the 193(12.88%)articles from NCIPM, and the minimum number of articles published by NIASM with 45(3.00%).
