"A Technological Survey on Different Navigation Algorithms for Mobile Cleaning Robots" Cleaning Robots
Abstract
In this article, a small robot is used whose navigation is based on the Simple switch sensors, which are implemented on left and right side of the robot bumper. If left sensor is on and right sensor is off the obstacle is in the left of robot and vice versa. The robot sweeps with the help of brush and uses bumper which soften up the collision with the obstacle. Two brushes are attached under the bumper to collect obstacles nearby dirt.
