Today's Information Exchange
Abstract
Information exchange or the electronic transmission of information between organizations according to nationally recognized standards, each time information is sent electronically to another provider it is done in a uniformly accepted way that meets specific standards to ensure protection of the data and privacy of the user. The information will be received in a way that is usable for the recipient. Information exchange provides information in a secure, standardized and electronic format, enabling information to follow the user, rather than being housed in one place or a single organizational system.
